The most important thing that happened today was it was Auburn's birthday. I hated being so far away from her on this special day. She said she had a great day, so that is what matters most.
Happy Birthday to my beautiful baby girl. You are seventeen now! So bold and brave and just beginning to blaze your trail! I have no doubt you will handle the next seventeen years with the same simplicity and grace that you have the first seventeen. Tell Ambs to hug you for me and give Ace a big hug for me too.
