Palo Duro Canyon in Texas
We had more one stop before leaving Amarillo and that was Palo Duro Canyon, which is the second largest canyon in the US.

I chose to comment on THIS post as we are originally from Texas! My husband and I are on the road with our two littles ones (homeschooling also) due my husbands job.
