Olympic National Park-Hoh Rainforest

Today we went back for another visit to Olympic National Park. This time we went to Hoh Rainforest. It was just incredible. Even though Austin would tell you it was tree, moss, tree, moss, tree, moss...moss, tree-I thought it was fascinating. He did think it was cool also, just a bit too much of the tree and moss I guess.

You'll have to peek at our Show Us the World Too blog to see what our favorite feature of the day was! We had a great day and I'd write more but I'm tired and I'm off to explore more about rainforests now because I'm so intrigued by them. Living the life in Washington!

As far as I know, the Hoh Rainforest is the only temperate rainforest in the world (rather than tropical). Maybe that will make it cooler to the kids. I love it there, if I can take the insects and allergens.

My spirit loves it regardless.

Nah, that would not make it cooler for a teen. He still would wonder why we needed to go more than one day. ;o

My spirit loved it too!
