Houston Zoo and Friends

I know, I know...I've been such a lazy blogger. The internet is so horribly slow here that it has turned blogging into a not so fun task so I've just avoided it completely all week long. I'm pushing past it today though because I had a day too good not to blog about.About ten years ago I made the transition to be a WAHM and started selling on eBay. In order to gain tips on how to do so more successfully, I joined some online groups and from there I made some great friends. As my children grew up and different things in life occurred, I moved on from those particular groups but I still count some of the people I met there as dear friends.Today I was able to meet one of those ladies IRL and it was such a treat. You never know if someone's online personality will match with their real life one-but in this case she was as lovely as I hoped she'd be based on my interaction with her over the years. We were also able to meet her family and we loved them too. Here are all of us, minus Austin who the person taking the picture managed to cut out:
I can't tell you how much it meant to be able to spend the day with such a special person! One of the best things about Texas by far!

More pictures of her cutie and beauties and my nutty children:

I thought our internet was the only one that was slow. I'm glad your meeting went well! Very exciting!

Found you through Melanie's blog. She is a precious friend. I'm a little jealous of you getting to be with her as I now live in FL! We are also a homeschooling family who has recently (2 months ago) decided to adopt the RV lifestyle. Would love to get to know you/learn from you. The learning curve on everything from efficiency and organization to big block engine repairs and propane systems can get a bit daunting, but we're loving the freedom of it all.

Hi Becky,
How fun to meet another RV'ing family. I'm happy to talk with you and share what I do know. I recommend joining the FOTR group first and foremost-the link is on my blog. Beyond that, you can email me at krystal@webtropic.com if you do want to chat.

Nice to meet you!
