New Market VA to Gloucester VA

Yesterday, we had a very short travel day from the valley over to the Chesapeake Bay area.  The Thousand Trails here is one of our favorites by far.  We are parked directly on the water which is a real treat!

We are getting so much rain and wind from the remnants of Hurricane Ida.  It is always a bit scary to be in an RV when it is very windy.  I was so excited to see the leaves were still vibrantly full of color and on the trees here because I was sick and missed most of that in the valley.  We went out to take pictures before it began raining and I used Nathan's memory card since I have misplaced mine.  When I got home, the card was corrupt and I lost all of the pictures.  So I am hoping that some leaves are left on the trees after the storm.

In the meantime, we are enjoying being in a place that just feels like home to us!

o that's lovely
look how vibrant that red is!
sorry to hear you've been sick and about the whole memory card debacle... funny, my biggest card is wrecked, thankfully i didn't lose anything... a reminder that they aren't infallible and it's good to get the pics off right away.. so cool that you are parked on the water, that is a treat! o how i miss the road :(
hugs and love and stay healthy!

It is so lovely here. I'm just sick over losing my card. It was a 16GB one, so my largest one by far. I do pretty much get the pics off daily, so it could have been much worse

I bet you do miss the road. I have pangs of missing being put when I read your blog!
