Postcard Perfect Virginia

Today Nathan and I went to Urbanna and Topping to look at some campgrounds there.
We enjoyed the drive and the landscape.  I always think Virginia looks like a constant postcard-view everywhere you look.  It is truly one of my favorite states in terms of beauty.
Our travel buddies should be here within a few days and we are very excited about that!
Living the life in Virginia!

I really miss Virginia! We spent quite a bit of time there (in a hotel room and temporary apartment; before we got the camper). My daughter can't wait to go back even though I think we visited everything we could possibly see within driving distance! She just loved Virginia Beach! If you're in that vicinity, we really enjoyed Sandbridge- not as crowded as VB and there's a wonderful wildlife refuge and state park nearby. I believe the state park is Back Bay- been a few years. Anyway, the only way to get there is to walk or bike through the refuge or take a bus ride in. We did the wildlife tour and loved it! Very reasonable- only $8 and the ranger we had was extremely knowledgable. We were the only ones on the bus. Saw feral pigs, had never seen them before. We've also seen the wild ponies (not the Assateague Island ones, but Corolla ponies from NC) at Sandbridge. Blessings!
