Today we moved from Wachula to Miami. We are staying at the Larry and Penny Thompson park here. We were supposed to be here a month, but with the death in the family, our plans were changed. It is so much warmer here than in Wachula. I forgot how warm it was here in the winter. We are loving it!
We had a hard time getting the RV in our spot and a nice gentlemen came over and helped us. And by helped, I mean he did it for us. I really can't get over how friendly people have been to us so far. I appreciate it so much.
We are gearing up for the holidays now that we are down here. I can't wait to see the rest of the family. Happy Holidays to all!

Hi there,
I was wondering if you could respond to the comment email this will send you. How did you enjoy this campground? We are thinking about going there in two months... how close was it to the beaches? We really enjoy the Hollywood Boardwalk there... any info would be great. We have a little 4 year old daughter. Any information you can give us, would be a great help!!
Thanks so much!!
Hi there. We did enjoy this campground. It was nicely maintained and was well patrolled. The beaches are probably about 20 to 30 minutes away. It is extremely close to the Miami zoo if your 4 year old likes that. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask and I'll try to help.
