It's a Beautiful Life

We have been in San Diego long enough for me to safely say that we really love it here. There is such a nice casual feel to this place that makes it feel sort of like a great pair of jeans, it just fits us well. This is what I have been able to see each day through our windshield:
Yesterday, while at Sea World, Nathan snapped this picture of me that I just love. It's not that it is a great picture of me. It's not even that I'm doing what I love-taking pictures. Especially since I'm using the "baby" camera to take quick and easy video clips, rather than using the camera I truly love.

It is because this picture sums up my life right now. While I am enjoying something so cool to me, there is something as cool sitting right next to me. It is almost like a kid in a candy store feeling-I hardly know where to look in order to take it all in. This has been the constant theme in my life for the past eleven months. I don't think I'll ever be able to wrap words around this experience of ours to describe it to others. It has been the most incredible gift I have ever received to wake up each day knowing this is my life.
