Today we visited the Barrier Islands Center, located in this historic almshouse farm. The gentlemen working there gave a wonderful lecture with some informative facts on the barrier islands, along with interesting stories. This house was the almshouse for the poor.
One of the most fascinating things in the house was up in the attic-a twisted chimney.
Nathan thought this gun was incredible. Unfortunately my camera's card decided not to work for me so this was about all of the pictures we got.
It was a nice day doing something we love, learning about our country.
