As if this day wasn't great enough already, after the rodeo show we saw ZZ Top in concert. The handsome hubby took me to a Billy Joel concert for our first date, so it's been a romantic gesture of his to plan concert dates with me ever since then. It's a really neat thing to now be sharing that with our children.
She's got legs, she knows how to use them...:) Great fun to take the kids to a concert. l Iike your idea for 2009 faves label...Have to figure out a way to be more succinct about those labels...I feel like I have to reorganize that, but think it would be rather time consuming...Anyways, thanx for the idea.
As we were seeing the world, we shared what we see with underprivileged children. If you'd like to help this great cause, you can read more about how to help here: Reach the World
"Our aim in education is to give a full life. We owe it to them to initiate an immense number of interests. Life should be all living, and not merely a tedious passing of time; not all doing or all feeling or all thinking - the strain would be too great - but, all living; that is to say, we should be in touch wherever we go, whatever we hear, whatever we see, with some manner of vital interest." I love concerts! I'm a country girl, myself; but I probably wouldn't complain over going to too many. :^)
