I had a friend recently say to me something along the lines of "oh, you all like to camp in the parking lot type of campgrounds" and it threw me for a minute because we really don't. Then I realized the Thousand Trails closest to her is more like that so that is why she thought that. We'd have never signed up for a membership if they all were that way. Normally, they are like the one here. And this is what we do like: And a large part of why we like them to be like that, is so we can see this: and have time to sit in awe over this:Living the life in VERY HOT California!
As we were seeing the world, we shared what we see with underprivileged children. If you'd like to help this great cause, you can read more about how to help here: Reach the World
"Our aim in education is to give a full life. We owe it to them to initiate an immense number of interests. Life should be all living, and not merely a tedious passing of time; not all doing or all feeling or all thinking - the strain would be too great - but, all living; that is to say, we should be in touch wherever we go, whatever we hear, whatever we see, with some manner of vital interest."
