Music Lives Here

We really like this place, whose motto is "Music Lives Here", and imagine it is even better in warmer weather. Last night, Austin got to join a jam session at the picking shed and was awarded a T-shirt for it. Today brought chilly weather so we decided to explore the campground and that helped take our minds off of it.

We did some bike riding which took us down to the river:Ace always goes crazy when we take him to a body of water that he can jump into:After that, we headed down to the horse stables:
Then we headed up to the Village to get some ice cream. There we came across a dog that the kids immediately called Merle from a book we read together. He growled at Ace, and when Auburn went to scold him, he did what any smart child would do, he begged for forgiveness:at which point he won over both of their hearts and they are still begging to make him a member of the family: We grabbed some ice cream time and then went into Live Oak where we grabbed pizza and a movie for our Movie Night. It is supposed to be even colder tomorrow and we are not looking forward to that. BRRRRR!

I really try to keep up with your adventures, but you are such an adventuresome family! I love the photos of the horses (knew I was going to say that, right?)

Yeah, we stay pretty busy doing lots of different things. I did guess you were going to comment on the horses. I am looking for another refuge to volunteer at in the area we are at now because it was so touching to us to spend time at the last one.

Thanks. They are so gorgeous, they force me to spend a bit of time editing their pics. I'm guessing it'll be more that way when we get out your way with the landscapes there. Or at least I'm hoping. =)
